Our client is a leading international accountancy firm who are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to spearhead a diverse portfolio of clients hailing from various industries across Europe.

In this dynamic role, you will not only oversee the audit requirements of your clients but also tackle intricate accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as provide adept support for complex transactions. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leadership: Direct and oversee audit engagements, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing proactive solutions and guidance.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations to address complex financial issues and ensure compliance.

  • Team Development: Mentor and coach audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance team performance.

  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Identify and evaluate risks in audit engagements, implement strategies to mitigate risks, and ensure the quality and efficiency of audit procedures through thorough review and process enhancements.

We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualities:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in External Audit.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a managerial capacity.
  • Preferred international qualification such as the ACCA or RA.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are highly advantageous.
  • Profound knowledge of IFRS and/or other international accounting standards.
  • Demonstrable technical prowess.
  • A strategic problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
