Our partner is looking for a senior leader with shipping, transport, logistics, or similar experience to help them continue to be the lead within the shipping industry. Your clients would include but not limited to charterers, operators, ports and port agents, brokers, managers, financial institutions and a whole range of other organisations involved in shipping. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a young team
- Be a key account holder for largest clients
- Maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for budgeting, WiP control and billing
- Be involved in group sales and marketing activity, including playing a leading role in client pitches, networking, and other marketing events
- Work with clients on technical and audit judgement decisions
- Coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA or other recognised international qualification
- Experience with international clients
- UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting experience
- Experience as a Senior Manager or experienced Manager
- Shipping experience desirable
