The role is a very strategic and people focused position that will help shape your clients tax strategy, planning and compliance while delivering a wide range of advisory services. Your team will help clients who consist of offshore businesses, individuals, and organisations solve their complex business issues. From strategy to execution the Senior Manager will oversee a team of dynamic tax professionals and ensure their standard of work is at the highest level.

The Senior Managers client portfolio will include Insurance companies and Investment Funds. The following will be their key responsibilities:

  • Ensure U.S. tax returns and other U.S. tax filings are reviewed and of a high standard
  • Supervise and review your teams U.S. tax research and technical research memoranda to be used in the presentation of marketing material for U.S. services
  • Be the face of the U.S. tax team when meeting with existing and potential clients to discuss tax issues
  • Staffing strategy for client engagements

Preferred experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, Taxation, Business or a Law Degree
  • U.S. CPA Qualification, admitted to practice law in the US or hold relevant U.S. Tax certification
  • 5+ years of U.S. taxation experience within an international accounting or law firm
  • Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Insurance, Investment Partnerships experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proven ability to develop and mentor junior team members
  • Team player, with excellent communication skills
